KNN Bureau Sectors 31 Mar 2016 10:26:42 New Delhi, Mar 31 (KNN) Making a move towards getting SC/ST job seekers employed, the Ministry of Labour &amp; Employment wants to engage institutions for providing coaching and training to them.<br /> <br /> The coaching would be provided in General English, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Training in Shorthand and Typing in shorthand.<br /> <br /> The Ministry, in a notification, said this is to equip them to compete in various examinations for vacancies of Group &lsquo;C&rsquo; and equivalent posts conducted by staff selection commission and other recruiting agencies.<br /> <br /> The coaching is being imparted by the Ministry under its special coaching scheme for a period of 11 months.<br /> <br /> This would be conducted in 22 cities including &ndash; Delhi, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Kolkata, Kanpur and more under the supervision of Coaching cum Guidance Centres for SC/ STs located in these cities.<br /> <br /> At around 60 candidates would be trained in each city except in Delhi where 100 candidates would be trained.<br /> The coaching will commence from July 1, 2016.
