    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, July 22 (KNN) &lt;/strong&gt;In a bid to attract investments, the African country Ethiopia has extended invitation to the Indian textile entrepreneurs to set up the units in their country.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The proposal was extended during a recent visit of the Ethiopian delegation headed by Bogale Feleke Temesgen, Ethiopian State Minister of Industry, and Sileshi Lemma Bekele, Director General of Ethiopian Textile Industry Development Institute.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;During the meeting, the delegation interacted with the Southern India Mills Association and explored various possibilities of channelizing investment.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The Minister from Ethiopia informed that the country has a land spread of over three million hectares that is suitable for the growing of cotton, which is underutilized as there are not many textile producing units in the country.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;He added that the Ethiopian government is willing to offer both power and land on competitive prices on 60-80 years lease to the Indian investors.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Also the African country is developing 13 industrial parks with some Indian investors already a part of the project. &lt;strong&gt;(KNN/ DA)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
