    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, Aug 26 (KNN) &lt;/strong&gt;In a bid to revamp the functioning mechanism, Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has announced digitalizing all its operations by the August of 2018.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The Central Provident Fund Commissioner V P Joy in a press interview informed about the latest development.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Joy said that the EPFO going online and doing away with offline system by in a years time from now is the new target of the organization.  He further said that once the EPFO goes paperless, this would help reduce public interface and help save time.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Also online services are expected to tackle to problem of corruption that continue to hamper the speedy functioning of the organization as complained by various stakeholders.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;EPFO at present runs social security schemes including EPF, pension and insurance for formal sector workers. It has already launched a number of online services such as EPF withdrawals. &lt;strong&gt;(KNN/ DA)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
