    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Hyderabad, Sept 13 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; T-Hub, Indias fastest growing start-up engine ,in association with United Technologies Corporation - Hyderabad Research and Design Centre (HRDC), announced the launch of advanced emerging technologies laboratory.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The lab will be housed at T-Hubs Catalyst Building.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Driven by the growing Smart Cities Mission, India has emerged as a prominent market for Smart Intelligent Building Technology Systems.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The new space is aimed to become a launch pad for UTC HRDC engineers to design and develop innovative solutions leveraging the start-up ecosystem. It will also serve as a showcase to enhance awareness about UTCs Smart Building products and platforms for start-ups and develop collaborative solutions.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;Speaking at the inaugural session held here on Tuesday Jay Krishnan, CEO, T-Hub stated, As a start-up engine, we are constantly focused on collaborating with global industry leaders, so that start-ups supported by us can benefit from their technical and technological expertise. Data analytics software and hardware is a game-changing segment for India, where we are witnessing high entrepreneurial interest.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;We are delighted to host the emerging technology lab within the T-Hub premises for UTC-HRDC and have no doubt that the facility will greatly boost the technological capabilities of start-ups working in this arena. This is a great initiative and I would like to thank UTC-HRDC for making us their long term strategic partners, he added.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;Commenting on the launch of the emerging technology lab, John Galbraith, Vice President of Global Engineering; Climate, Controls &amp;amp; Security, UTC said, The launch of this laboratory reiterates our commitment to India and our continued focus on innovation.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;This initiative marks our contribution to the fast growing open innovation and start-up research explosion happening in India, specifically Hyderabad. UTC has its largest Research &amp;amp; Design centre for Commercial Businesses at Hyderabad (HRDC) and this launch will enable us to rapidly leverage innovative solutions for the benefit of our customers.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;Prakash Bodla, Vice President Engineering &amp;amp; Centre Head of Hyderabad Research &amp;amp; Design Centre, further added, UTC - HRDC has a strategic association with T-Hub andwe have been actively engaged together, in identifying potential start-up solutions in the space of Smart Building technologies and Video Analytics space.  We have been seeing good progress in our engagement with T-Hub and this lab will give further boost to our innovation journey from HRDC&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;T-Hub and UTC-HRDC have been engaged over the several months to promote innovation in the smart and intelligent buildings technology space.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
