    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, Sept 28 (KNN) &lt;/strong&gt;Addressing the need to have a holistic approach towards entrepreneurship among women, Fazila Jeewa-Daureeawoo, Minister for Gender Equality, Child Development and Family Welfare (Mauritius), said that it is essential to focus on providing equitable access to assets, technology as well as appropriate training.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;She further said that the stakeholders must realise that there is no size fits all formula for entrepreneurship development.  In order to achieve a progressive vision, it is important to have policies and programmes that are responsive to womens strategic needs.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Also the need of the hour is to facilitate an array of services for womens entrepreneurship development, the minister added.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The Minister made these remarks during a workshop titled Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;Preeti Saran, Secretary, of the Indian External Affairs Ministry during the interaction, said that education &amp;amp; training are two key areas that needs to be addressed to bring in change. .&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Also gender equality laws and initiatives as well as social security and financial inclusion schemes for women are to be to ensure the mobility of women entrepreneurs into higher value-added production and decision-making positions, Saran added.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The workshop was organized by FICCI in association with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and IORA Secretariat. &lt;strong&gt;(KNN/ DA)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
