ENA Sectors 2017-09-29 10:00:26 <p><strong>New Delhi, Sept 29 (KNN) </strong>The governments call for applications for the National Entrepreneurship awards, instituted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, is set to close on September 30.</p> <p>The Ministry had invited applications in a bid to recognise and encourage entrepreneurship in the country.</p> <p>This year is the second year since the inception of the awards.</p> <p>Under the award scheme, individual entrepreneurs will be awarded Rs 5 lakh, and mentoring institutes will be awarded Rs 10 lakh.</p> <p>The startups will be awarded in two broad categories of Award track and Recognition Track.</p> <p>Under the award track category , first generation entrepreneurs will be identified in different domains including textiles, leather; agriculture, forestry products; chemicals, pharmaceuticals and renewable energy as well as waste management.</p> <p>Also entrepreneurs in handicrafts; e-commerce; IT and ITES; healthcare; education and engineering, sectors will be considered for the award.</p> <p>Institutes or organisations that offer courses on entrepreneurship development, incubation, mentorship and handholding support will be identified and awarded under the recognition track category. <strong>(KNN/ DA)</strong></p> 18132 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/sectors/application-for-national-entrepreneurship-awards-to-close-on-september-30 2017-09-29 10:00:26 knnindia.co.in
