ENA Global 2017-11-01 05:37:21 <p><strong>New Delhi, Nov 1 (KNN)</strong> India will be participating at the 7^th Asia Ministerial Energy Roundtable with the Minister for Petroleum and Natural gas, Dharmendra Pradhan leading the official delegation from the country.</p> <p>The meeting is scheduled for 1^st and 2^nd November.</p> <p>India holds the current chair of the International Energy Forum (IEF) the promoting agency of the upcoming meeting.</p> <p>The Minister from India will address the gathering on the theme Natural Gas: Overcoming Market and Policy Hurdles to the Golden Age of Gas.</p> <p>The 7th AMER at Bangkok will be an important IEF event before India hosts the 16th IEF Ministerial meeting, the Ministry informed in a press release.</p> <p>Ministers from across the world including Qatar, Brunei as well as Senior Representatives from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan and Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Energy Ministers from Saudi Arabia, Russia, UAE, Thailand, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Brunei are expected to participate in the meeting.</p> <p>Also next year, India being the chair of IEF, it will host the 16^th Ministerial Conference of the IEF in April.<strong> (With PIB Inputs) (KNN/DA)</strong></p> 18326 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/global/dharmendra-pradhan-to-participate-at-7th-asia-ministerial-meeting-in-bangkok 2017-11-01 05:37:21 knnindia.co.in
