&lt;p&gt;In a tweet on January 10, GST@GOI said, It may please be noted that there is no extension of GSTR-I. There is a fake notification being circulated on social media. &lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;There was fake news doing rounds in social media that the government has extended the deadline to file GSTR-1 for the period July-November till January 15, 2018. The original deadline was January 10, 2018.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;At the moment there has been no official word on the extension of deadline.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
