    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, Jan 18 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has invited SMEs to participate in the Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) Innovation Challenge.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The challenge is open for SMEs, Entrepreneurs, Companies, Start-ups, Academia and labs in India.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;WHR Innovation Challenge is being conducted under the BEE-UNIDO Initiative for Facility for Low Carbon Technology Deployment (FLCTD).&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;FLCTD is jointly implemented by BEE and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and is supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;This 5-year project aims to promote innovation of low-carbon technologies and its deployment in industrial and other related sectors of Indian economy.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Under the project, annual 'Innovation Challenge' competitions are being conducted to identify innovative low carbon technologies and solutions to improve efficient end-use of energy, which in turn will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the long run.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The project will promote the deployment of winning technologies.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The last date for submitted applications on &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.low-carbon-innovation.org&quot;&gt;www.low-carbon-innovation.org&lt;/a&gt; is February 18, 2018. &lt;strong&gt;(KNN Bureau)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
