ENA MSME 2018-01-18 08:57:34 <p><strong>New Delhi, Jan 18 (KNN)</strong> The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has invited SMEs to participate in the Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) Innovation Challenge.</p> <p>The challenge is open for SMEs, Entrepreneurs, Companies, Start-ups, Academia and labs in India.</p> <p>WHR Innovation Challenge is being conducted under the BEE-UNIDO Initiative for Facility for Low Carbon Technology Deployment (FLCTD).</p> <p>FLCTD is jointly implemented by BEE and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and is supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).</p> <p>This 5-year project aims to promote innovation of low-carbon technologies and its deployment in industrial and other related sectors of Indian economy.</p> <p>Under the project, annual 'Innovation Challenge' competitions are being conducted to identify innovative low carbon technologies and solutions to improve efficient end-use of energy, which in turn will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the long run.</p> <p>The project will promote the deployment of winning technologies.</p> <p>The last date for submitted applications on <a href="http://www.low-carbon-innovation.org">www.low-carbon-innovation.org</a> is February 18, 2018. <strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></p> 18883 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/msme/bee-unidos-waste-heat-recovery-innovation-challenge-open-applications-sought-from-smes-others 2018-01-18 08:57:34 knnindia.co.in
