ENA Economy 2018-04-21 08:16:44 <p><strong>New Delhi, Apr 21 (KNN)</strong> In an attempt to protect the domestic industry, the government has launched an anti-dumping investigation on the import of epoxy resins originating from China, EU, Taiwan and Thailand.</p> <p>The probe comes as a response to the complaints raised by the domestic manufacturers in India, submitting an application to the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties (DGAD) for launching of anti-dumping investigation and imposition of the duty on the item.</p> <p>Responding to the complaints, DGAD has said that it has sufficient evidence of dumping of these imports from the mentioned countries.</p> <p>DGAD informed that the period of investigation for the present probe is 2016-17, but to determine the injury to the domestic market, the period will also cover data of 2014-17.</p> <p>DGAD in its investigation will determine existence, degree and effect of alleged dumping and recommend the amount of anti-dumping duty, which if levied would be adequate to remove the injury to the domestic industry.</p> <p>Anti-dumping measures are taken to ensure fair trade and provide a level-playing field to the domestic industry<strong>.(KNN/DA)</strong></p> 19643 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/economy/dgad-starts-investigation-of-dumping-of-epoxy-resins-from-china-eu-taiwan-korea-and-thailand 2018-04-21 08:16:44 knnindia.co.in
