    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, June 14 (KNN) &lt;/strong&gt;Hemant Kumar, a freedom fighter, industrialist &amp;amp; founder Chairman of Indian Industries Association (then NAYE) passed away at the age of 91 at his native place in Meerut yesterday.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;He joined the freedom movement in the year 1942 &amp;amp; was jailed for 15 Months while leading the freedom movement at Vrindawan.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;After the independence Hemant Kumar was actively involved in the Social Work as well as he established an Industry M/s Sai Electricals at Meerut.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Realizing the pains and problems of small scale industries in the country, Kumar decided to work for the welfare of small scale industries in 1985.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Then, he joined hands with the then President of National Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (NAYE) and took over as the Chairman of NAYE which was renamed as Indian Industries Association in 1992.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;He also served as founder Chairman from 1985 to 1987 and was instrumental in designing &amp;amp; implementing several policies in favor of the Small Scale Sector along with the State Government as well as Government of India.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
