ENA Sectors 2018-07-09 05:50:41 <p><strong>New Delhi, July 9 (KNN) </strong>To create voluntary employment in the jute industry, the Bengal government has announced skill development program in the state.</p> <p>The program is for those people who are interested to get employed in the jute industry.</p> <p>This program will be run by labour department for a period of 3 months of which one month will be allocated for theoretical training and rest 2 months for practical training.</p> <p>For this, training centres have been set up at the employment centres in Bankura, Howrah and Dum Dum.</p> <p>With regards to qualifications, the minimum educational qualification should be class 8 passed and the minimum age should be 18 years.</p> <p>Also, there are provision for stipends and placement opportunities in the jute industry under this program.</p> <p>The west Bengal government is taking earnest efforts to take the jute industry back on the growth path as earlier it suffered for many years.</p> 20282 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/sectors/wb-government-to-initiate-skill-development-training-for-employment-in-jute-industry 2018-07-09 05:50:41 knnindia.co.in
