ENA Sectors 2018-07-18 07:31:07 <p><strong>New Delhi, July 18 (KNN)</strong> In a stormy start of Monsoon Session of the Parliament, opposition parties moved the No Trust Motion against the government which has been accepted by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.</p> <p>Mahajan said she would soon notify the date for discussion on the notice, which was moved by the Congress, Telugu Desam Party and Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party.</p> <p>It was for the first time in 15 years, a no-confidence motion against the government was moved and accepted in Lok Sabha today.</p> <p>The BJP-led government has 273 members in the Lok Sabha, far over the half-way mark apart from its allies.</p> <p>Ahead of the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed every MP and every party to make this a fruitful session.</p> <p>I always express this hope and make that effort. I am hoping this time too, Modi said in his remarks ahead of the session.</p> <p>Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said, Opposition parties may have no-confidence on the government, but I want to make it absolutely clear to the house that the people of the country have full confidence on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.</p> <p>MPs supporting the motion of no-confidence were asked to stand for counting.
