ENA State 2018-08-10 06:06:57 <p><strong>New Delhi, Aug 10 (KNN) </strong>In a bid to promote a two day Synergy State MSME Conclave, a road show was held at Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday to encourage MSMEs' participation in the conclave.</p> <p>The two-day Synergy State MSME Conclave is being organized by the Bengal Government on August 20-21, 2018.</p> <p>State MSME Secretary Alapon Bandhyopadhay held a road show to woo MSMEs to participate in the conclave apart from conducting district-level meetings.</p> <p>West Bengal has 52,69,814 MSME units, accounting for 11.62 per cent of the overall number.</p> <p>In 2017, the state recorded the biggest bank credit flow to the MSME sector in the last five years at USD 15 billion.</p> <p>The conclave expected to be attended by over 5,000 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and experts from various fields.</p> <p>It will focus on lean manufacturing, rural entrepreneurship, SME listing (initial public offering), export orientation for MSMEs, industrial infrastructure and institutional strengthening.</p> <p>Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the event.</p> 20570 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/state/wb-govt-holds-road-show-to-promote-synergy-state-msme-conclave 2018-08-10 06:06:57 knnindia.co.in
