    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chennai, Mar 19 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; Pollachi, a small town and a taluk headquarters in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu, is witnessing a total commercial shutdown and protest by traders today following the sexual abuse incident.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;The shutdown is being organised by the trade unions in the town and supported by all political parties and the All India Democratic Womens Association (AIDWA) demanding a court-monitored probe in the issue.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Protests are being held by students, lawyers, traders, politicians, women etc demanding a fair and speedy investigation into a case that has sent shockwaves across the state.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;Four persons -- Thirunavukkarasu, Sathish, Sabarirajan, Vasanthakumar -- all in their 20s, have been accused of sexually assaulting women in Pollachi and filming the act to blackmail them for money or for physical submission for over seven years.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
