ENA MSME 2019-09-23 05:32:58 <p><strong>Guwahati, Sep 23 (KNN)</strong> To set up a tool room and training centre at Quality Control building at Borguri in Tinsukia under the special scheme Promotion of MSME in NE Region and Sikkim, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Tool Room &amp; Training Centre, Guwahati.</p> <p>Commissioner and secretary of Assams Industries and Commerce Department, S S Meenakshi Sundaram signed the MoU with the project manager, Kajal Kumar Saha, Tool Room &amp; Training Centre, Guwahati.</p> <p>The Tool Room will be set up under the special scheme Promotion of MSME in NE Region and Sikkim.</p> <p>The MoU was signed in the presence of state industries and commerce minister, Chandra Mohan Patowary.</p> <p>The estimated project cost of the Tool Room is Rs 11.33 crore, out of which Government of Indias grant is Rs 5.80 crores and state share is Rs 5.53 crores.</p> <p>The Tool Room and Training Centre will develop production facilities of moulds, jigs, fixtures and other sophisticated tools preferable for MSMEs.</p> <p>It will also train manpower in the field of industrial engineering and other allied engineering trades both for the freshers and for personnel already engaged in the field.</p> <p><iframe frameborder="no" scrolling="no" src="https://nativclick.com/test/3419.html" style="width:700px; height:250px;"></iframe></p> <p>---------------------</p> <p><iframe frameborder="0" height="500" id="mgiframe" src="//mg.mgid.com/mghtml/framehtml/c/k/n/knnindia.co.in.338951.html" width="100%"></iframe></p> 23718 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/msme/assam-industries-min-signs-mou-for-setting-up-tool-room-and-training-centre-at-tinsukia-for-msmes 2019-09-23 05:32:58 knnindia.co.in
