ENA State 2022-08-25 07:45:40 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Lucknow, Aug 25 (KNN)</strong> To support Uttar Pradesh governments aim to become a USD 1 trillion economy, the Indian Industries Association (IIA) will conduct an industry survey for setting up of MSMEs in the state.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">This was revealed after the IIA delegation led by National President DS Verma met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">According to an official statement from the association, it has taken up a project to conduct comprehensive tehsil-level industrial survey for setting up MSMEs in UP.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Its objective is to identify areas and opportunities based upon locally available raw materials, skills and labour to boost business, said IIA.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Emphasising on the productivity in agriculture, horticulture and animal resources, IIA said that these areas have huge potential for setting up food processing and handicraft industries at the tehsil level.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In rural areas these sectors can provide further boost to jobs and revenue generation.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">It will also improve quality of life in villages and not force youth to migrate to urban areas.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">To encourage business development IIA would host the UP Udyami Mahasammelan in the first week of November. <em><strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></em></span></p> 30301 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/state/iia-to-conduct-industrial-survey-for-setting-up-msmes-in-up 2022-08-25 07:45:40 knnindia.co.in
