ENA State 2022-09-01 07:40:57 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Jaipur, Sept 1 (KNN)</strong> The State Cabinet of Rajasthan approved the Handicrafts Policy-2022 on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The objective of Rajasthan Handicrafts Policy 2022 is to help the development of 6 lakh craftsman and artisans by empowering them.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">New employment opportunities will also be created in the state with a focus on giving boost to traditional handicrafts.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Under the new policy National-level Handicrafts Week will be organised every year in December and artisan will be felicitated.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Facilities like brand building of handicrafts, assistance for online marketing, social security, loan facility, scholarship, assistance for participation in fairs, expansion of infrastructure facilities in Craft Village, besides setting up handicraft park, museum, design center, sales center will be ensured under the policy.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">A state-level monitoring committee headed by State Industries and Commerce Minister will be also be formed to ensure better implementation of the policy. <em><strong>(KNN Bureau)</strong></em></span></p> 30386 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/state/rajasthan-cabinet-approves-handicraft-policy-2022-to-revive-traditional-handicrafts 2022-09-01 07:40:57 knnindia.co.in
