ENA State 2022-09-28 08:18:43 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Imphal, sept 28 (KNN)</strong> The new Preparatory Support Scheme to support the handloom weavers will be launched soon, said Manipur Textiles Minister Nemcha Kipgen on Tuesday.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">During the inauguration ceremony of a Common Facility Centre (CFC) of Haorang Sabal Block Level Cluster and IDPH projects of Imphal West at Salam Village, Kipgen said that the wrapped beams, pim with weft yarn and bobbins with warp yarn will be available at 50 per cent on the cost of yarn.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Kipgen went on to state that the state has rich handloom and handicrafts which are loved and encouraged by the people all over the world. The newly inaugurated CFC will help in empowering the women financially.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Speaking on the occasion, Lamsang MLA S Rajen said even though the state has its own handicrafts products most of the items are being exported from outside the state.
