ENA State 2022-10-07 11:25:59 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Chandigarh, Oct 7 (KNN)</strong> The Global City project in Gurugram which is being developed by Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is expected to attract investment worth Rs 1 lakh crore.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Addressing a press conference here in Chandigarh on Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, said that the Global City is a mixed land-use township being developed over nearly 1,080 acres to redefine the concept of urban development and what cities of the future shall look like through its sustainability-focused future-oriented infrastructure planning and design.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"> A single-window system would be adopted to execute all the works related to this. All companies with whom talks have been held regarding these projects have demanded that the work that is to be done through the government should be completed at the earliest, he added.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">As per reports, all the companies will have to show the progress of construction within three years.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The state has also been in talks with placement companies to provide employment opportunities to the youth. Talks are also being held with companies for providing skilled and semi-skilled manpower from Haryana. Around 5.50 lakh employment opportunities have been generated in the state because of foreign and national investments.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Chief Minister said that new projects are being started continuously around Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP).
