ENA State 2022-12-12 11:03:52 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Dec 12 (KNN)</strong> Total 1067 women entrepreneurs have registered from the state of Tamil Nadu on Udyam Sakhi till October 2022, informed MoS MSME Bhanu Pratap Verma in a written reply in Rajya Sabha on Monday. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Vellore district has the highest number of women entrepreneurs at 360, followed by Ranipet 334. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The trailing districts are Tiruvannamalai at 210 and Salem at 163.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Rest all the districts including Chennai have zero women registered on the portal till October, 2022.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Udyam Sakhi Portal (https://udyam-sakhi.com) provides the information regarding financial schemes, policies, programmes of the Ministry of MSME to existing/prospective women entrepreneurs in the MSME sector. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Based on composite criteria of classification of MSMEs on account of investment in plant &amp; machinery and turnover of MSMEs, the Ministry has replaced the erstwhile process of filing of Udyog Aadhar Memorandum by Udyam registration including Women entrepreneurs on online portal https://udyamregistration.gov.in from July 2020.
