The 118 Km long project has been developed at a total cost of around Rs 8,480 crores, an official statement said. Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for Mysuru-Khushalnagar 4 lane highway. During his visit, PM Modi will also dedicate IIT Dharwad to the nation. The campus has been built at the cost of Rs 850 crores According to the official statement, the longest railway platform in the world at Sri Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Station will also be initiated. The foundation stone for Jayadeva Hospital and Research Centre, Tupparihalla Flood Damage Control Project and for various projects of Hubballi-Dharwad smart city will also be laid down. PM will also dedicate the electrification of Hosapete Hubballi Tinaighat section and the upgradation of Hosapete station, for boosting connectivity in the region.
