ENA State 2023-05-02 13:10:28 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Chennai, May 2 (KNN)</strong> Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Monday informed that the state government has decided to withdraw the Factories (Amendment) Act 2023, which extended the working hours to 12 a day.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Addressing May Day celebrations at May Day Park, the Chief Minister stated that the Factories (Amendment) Act 2023, which permitted industries to work up to 12 hours a day, up from the previously 8 hours, has been repealed in the benefit of workers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3B9mZSj"><img alt="FOLLOW US on GOOGLE NEWS" src="https://knnindia.co.in//uploads/gallery/GoogleNews.jpg" style="border-style:solid; border-width:1px; height:95px; margin:1px; width:299px" /></a></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px"> We will not compromise on the welfare of the workers under any circumstances.
