ENA State 2025-11-14 18:35:40 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Amaravati, Nov 14 (KNN)</strong> Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said the state has attracted USD 20 billion in investments over the past 18 months, creating employment opportunities for 20 lakh young people. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Addressing the inaugural session of the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025 at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, he said the government aims to mobilise USD 500 billion in investments over the next three years, with the potential to generate jobs for 50 lakh youth. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Andhra Pradeshs natural resources and long coastline, he noted, position it as a strategic gateway for investments across multiple sectors.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Chief Minister welcomed more than 2,500 delegates, including 522 representatives from 72 countries, adding that Visakhapatnam is emerging as a safe, attractive destination for IT and industrial investment. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Naidu invited global delegates to return for next years edition of the summit, stating he is prepared to host it in Visakhapatnam. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He also announced his readiness to allocate seafront land for establishing a world-class India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) convention centre in the city, following a suggestion from Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Discussing the states strategy, Naidu said Andhra Pradeshs long coastline strengthens its potential as a key trade hub on the eastern corridor. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The government, he said, is pursuing a speed of doing business approach along with ten core principles to attract investments. Efforts are underway to establish drone, electronics, aerospace, space, semiconductor and defence corridors in the state. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He added that Amaravati will host a Quantum Valley, with quantum computers expected to be produced in Andhra Pradesh within two years.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The Chief Minister highlighted renewable energy as a major focus area, saying the state aims to contribute 160 GW toward Indias national target of 500 GW of green power. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He noted that a proposed data centre in Visakhapatnam alone requires 6 GW of power, underscoring the importance of scaling up green energy capacity.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Urging industry leaders to partner with the state, Naidu said Andhra Pradesh offers significant opportunities across deep tech, tourism, logistics, and healthcare. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Abundant potential exists for global and domestic investors, he said, calling on businesses to join the state's economic transformation efforts.</span></p> <p><em><strong><span style="font-size:14px">(KNN Bureau)</span></strong></em></p> 44081 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/state/andhra-pradesh-govt-targets-usd-500-bn-investments-50-lakh-jobs-in-3-years-cm-naidu 2025-11-14 18:35:40 knnindia.co.in
