ENA Sectors 2026-02-09 17:32:45 <p><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>New Delhi, Feb 9 (KNN) </strong>Minister of State for Commerce &amp; Industry and Electronics &amp; Information Technology Jitin Prasada,on Monday inaugurated the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Lab Automation Portal SATYA, a major digital initiative towards digital governance.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">In his address on the occasion, the Minister emphasised that governance in the digital era goes beyond policymaking and must focus on ease, transparency, accountability and trust. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">He said the SATYA Portal marks an important step towards citizen-centric digital governance and improved public service delivery.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The STQC Directorate plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, security and reliability of electronic and IT products and services in the country. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">With the launch of the Lab Automation Portal, STQCs services have been integrated into a single, user-friendly digital platform, benefiting citizens, industry, startups, MSMEs and government departments.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">The portal is expected to ensure faster service delivery, greater predictability and enhanced confidence in the certification process for industry and citizens. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">For startups and MSMEs, it significantly reduces procedural burden and facilitates quicker market entry of compliant and secure products.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px">Speaking on the occasion, S.
